From St. Patrick’s Day celebrations and live music to karaoke, themed parties, and a downtown bar crawl fundraiser, there’s plenty happening across Marion County from Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 15.
Whether you’re planning a night out with friends, catching a live band, or joining one of the community events around town, this weekend offers a variety of entertainment and activities throughout the county.
FRIDAY, MARCH 13, 2026
6:00 PM – St. Patty’s Late Skate – Zoomers Skate Club – 1683 Marion-Mt. Gilead Rd., Marion (city) – St. Patrick’s themed skate night; admission $20 per person and includes skate rental, slice of pizza, chips, and a small drink. Runs 6–11 PM.
6:30 PM – Junior Service Guild presents Coast to Coast: A Musical Journey – The Brickyard on Main – 135 S. Main St., Marion (city) – Musical event presented by the Junior Service Guild; doors open at 6:30 PM and show begins at 7:25 PM; tickets $65.
7:00 PM – Live Jazz with Ethan Galbraith – Shovel City Drinkery – 181 N. Main St., Marion (city) – Jazz night featuring Ethan Galbraith; Bologna Express food truck begins serving at 5 PM and live music starts at 7 PM.
7:00 PM – Karaoke Night with DJ KOV – Kin & Kilt – 130 S. Prospect St., Marion (city) – Karaoke night hosted by DJ KOV with drinks and open mic singing; runs 7–10 PM.
SATURDAY, MARCH 14, 2026
10:00 AM – Paint with Patty – The Remnant – 187 W. Center St., Marion (city) – Guided paint class creating an Easter-themed bunny painting; $35 includes materials, instruction, and a 16 oz. drink of choice; runs 10 AM–12 PM.
10:00 AM – Brunch, Please! A Mimosa Fueled Throwback Sing-along at Bucci’s Italian Scratch Kitchen SOLD OUT – Bucci’s Italian Scratch Kitchen – 320 W. Center St., Marion (city) – Throwback sing-along brunch event. Runs 10 AM–2 PM. Cost: $27.89–$321.75. Each ticket includes entertainment, an inflatable mic, and sunglasses.
1:00 PM – Shamrock Hike – Marion Tallgrass Trail – 2093 Holland Rd. W., Marion (city) – Free outdoor hike hosted by the Marion County Park District; optional guided hike at 1:30 PM; event runs 1–4 PM.
2:30 PM – Luck of the Paws Bar Crawl – Downtown Marion – Various Downtown Locations, Marion (city) – Fundraiser bar crawl benefiting the Marion Area Humane Society; participants visit multiple downtown stops with drink specials; tickets $21.40.
5:00 PM – 5th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration with Live Music by Quenten Veach – Shovel City Drinkery – 181 N. Main St., Marion (city) – St. Patrick’s celebration with Wagner Farm Pork food truck from 5–9 PM and live music from 7–10 PM.
6:00 PM – St. Paddy's Celebration Party & Karaoke – Coonie’s Place Bar & Restaurant – 25 N. High St., La Rue (village) – Corned Beef and Cabbage, Bangers and Colcannon, Irish soda bread (homemade) Green beer, special cocktails and shenanigans for sure!! JT will be playing 6pm until midnight!
